New Zealand’s ‘Waka Jumping Bill’ Passed

New Zealand’s ‘waka jumping bill’ has finally passed into law, with the begrudging support of the Greens. The bill passed its third reading on Thursday afternoon with the support of Labour, NZ First, and the Green Party. The bill will allow party leaders to expel MPs from parliament if two-thirds of their caucus agrees with the decision.
