When young Tom Haig migrated with his Scottish parents to the hot and dusty city of Whyalla, little did he know that many years later he would be assisting other migrants from vastly different cultures to settle into their new lives in the town of Murray Bridge.
What was life like in Whyalla for new Scottish migrants, and what is life like now in Murray Bridge for those more recent migrants? Tom tells us.
