Radio Adelaide is going to the Show!
From August 31 to September 9, Radio Adelaide will broadcast all day, every day from the Royal Adelaide Show.
Come and see your favourite shows live and talk to us about how you can get involved!
The Show attracts over half a million people each year. Around 29% of SA’s population goes through the turnstiles, drinking around 35,000 cappuccinos, eating 70,000 buckets of chips and over 12,000 donuts, watching over 700 animals in the Grand Parade, and enjoying many more attractions spread over 64 acres of showgrounds.
“It’s the perfect opportunity for Radio Adelaide to engage with its community and showcase all the fun, sounds and stories of the Show,” says Chris Leese, Station Manager.
“It’s also a great opportunity for showgoers to see community radio in action and talk to us about the many ways they can get involved at Radio Adelaide, whether as a presenter or producer, or off-air helping with admin, marketing, digital content — all sorts of things. There are lots of ways to contribute and get real, practical experience.”
