Showdown 45: Was it a goal or a behind?
Posted on: Mon 6 Aug 2018
Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley is furious about a decision by the AFL’s score review system during his team’s 3-point loss to the Adelaide Crows in Showdown 45.
The Crows snatched the game from Port in the final minutes when forward, Josh Jenkins kicked a goal that travelled extremely close to the left-hand goal post. The kick was determined as goal by both the umpire and the score review system, however Jenkins himself has admitted he thought it was a point.
Sports Correspondent Jacob Leak joins Tom Mann to chat about this questionable goal and what it means for both teams’ finals hopes.
