Where There is Water, Is There Life?

The Mars Express has been orbiting the red planet since 2003. Last week, it discovered permanent liquid water. This caused researchers to find a large lake of salty water, buried 1.5 kilometers beneath Mars’ surface.
Jonti Horner, professor of Astrophysics, from the University of Southern Queensland, speaks to Breakfast’s Tom Mann to discuss what’s next for this discovery.
