What’s With the NEG?

The NEG, or National Energy Guarantee, is being hotly debated and due to be passed, or not passed, in August, depending on whether the States will sign up to it. Many green groups and those concerned about Australia meeting its already low emissions reduction target, would like to see the NEG thrown out. Barry Mitchell talks to Andrew Stock, Councillor with the Climate Council, about what the NEG is, and what it might mean for our future.
