The Carbon Footprint of Tourism

According to a world first study published in the Nature Climate Change journal, the carbon footprint of tourism is about four times larger than previously thought.
So as travel is getting cheaper, it’s also becoming more carbon intensive.
Professor Arunima Malik from the University of Sydney joins Breakfast’s Tom and Casey to explain the research.
