Recent research released by the New South Wales Bureau of Crime Statistics has shown that during the State of Origin game night, there is an increase of 40.7% in domestic assaults.
Visiting Fellow at the School of Regulation and Global Governance from the Australian National University, Melanie Pescud, joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann to the links between domestic violence and sporting events.
