No news is no news

The nightly news, and the front pages, are spaces waiting to be filled.
But when there is so much about car smashes, fires, police chases and not much about important public issues, does this mean the Government is not doing its job?
Is new Premier Steve Marshall “managing” the news or just quietly getting on with the serious business of Government?
Or is this more of a challenge for the media and its routines?
