Training to provide skills for dealing with job agencies
Posted on: Fri 20 Apr 2018
Anti-Poverty Network SA and Australian Unemployed Worker’s Union are holding a job network advocacy training day to equip people with the knowledge and skills to be able to stand up to their job services provider.
Australian Unemployed Worker’s Union President, Owen Bennett, explains how the idea for the training came about, the feedback received by AUWU’s support hotline from people who are experiencing problems with their job services provider and the difference that knowing one’s rights makes when accessing the welfare system.
