NZ Bans Offshore Exploration

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, has banned future offshore oil and gas exploration to protect future generations from the effects of climate change.
While environmentalists have welcomed this decision, others have questioned the impact it will have on local jobs and the economy.
Acclaimed film director, Taika Waititi, has also turned heads recently, after calling New Zealand ‘racist’ in a satirical video for the Human Rights Commission.
