Impacts of poor media coverage of substance use

A new report from National Wastewater Analysis Drug Monitoring Program has been released and there are concerns the coverage its receiving in the media isn’t providing a true reflection of what is happening in the community, in relation to drug and alcohol use.
Michael White, Executive Officer at South Australian Network of Drug and Alcohol Services explains to Small Change’s Lisa Burns what the report is about and how its data is collected, the media coverage trends he’s noticing and the impact these have on people and their families.
