Palm Sunday 2018

Long long ago Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, and was greeted by cheering crowds waving branches they’d ripped off the palm trees. A week later he was crucified. Palm Sunday is traditionally celebrated by Christians around the world, on the theme of peace. This report was recorded at the Adelaide Palm Sunday rally 2018, where thousands marched for justice for refugees. It includes words and singing from the gathering on Parliament House steps, beginning with Reverend Jenny Hughes.
