Costly technology excluding poor from digital world

South Australian Council of Social Service‘s latest Cost of Living Update shows that South Australians spend more on telecommunications than on electricity – and that like electricity costs, the cost of telecommunications hit those on the lowest incomes hardest.
Michael knows first-hand how difficult it can be to afford and access digital technologies and vital online services when living on a low income.
