“Weather alert”

On Monday March 5, ABC’s Four Corners aired ‘Weather Alert’ an episode looking at how Australia’s changing climate is impacting on the lives of everyday people.
The program deliberately sought the responses of first responders and those directly affected, while excluding those of politicians.
Among the issues covered was the health impact of rising temperatures.
Barometer’s Des Lawrence speaks with Dr Mark Monaghan who provided the health segment for the episode. He is an emergency physician and member of Doctors for the Environment.
