A Franco-Australian Commemoration of the WWI Armistice Centenary

Posted on: Sat 10 Mar 2018

Together with the City of Unley and the French Embassy of Australia, L’Alliance Française d’Adélaïde is holding a special concert to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the WWI Armistice.

Renowned pianist Maxime Zecchini will perform Maurice Ravel’s Pieces for the Left Hand, a challenging work originally commissioned by Paul Wittgenstein, an Austrian soldier who lost his right arm in combat. Lisa speaks with Kathy Stanford from L’Alliance to find out more.

This concert, to be held on Sunday 18 March at 3pm at Concordia College chapel, is a free event but does require registration. Click here to RSVP.
