People’s Panel launches Policy on Children’s Wellbeing

The People’s Policy on Children’s Wellbeing was recently launched.
The Policy was created by 30 people of diverse life experiences and backgrounds, who came together in facilitated meetings by Democracy Co.
The Policy has been presented to all South Australian political parties in the lead up to the State Election on 17 March 2018.
Michael Arman explains why he applied to be a part of the People’s Panel and what he’s gained from the experience. We also speak to Kara, who has lived experience of the state care system and describes what it was like to a part of the panel and share her own story with fellow panellists.
