New Radio Adelaide board elected

Radio Adelaide held its historic first annual general meeting on Friday 9 February, appointing its first community-elected board of directors and completing its transition to independence.
Following are the seven elected directors. The board will meet soon to appoint positions and terms and begin strategic planning.

Student Radio director 2017; recent Bachelor of Media (Journalism) graduate.
Bruce Guerin
Presenter and producer of Gastronaut on Radio Adelaide for past thirteen years; extensive career experience in organisational management, strategic planning, and policy development and implementation.
Annie Hastwell
Producer of The Wire on Radio Adelaide since 2004; 25 years working in radio, both in community and ABC, in news, current affairs, features and documentary production; partner in a small media company specialising in media strategies and training.
David Heath
Presenter and producer of Soundtrack of Your Life on Radio Adelaide; 15+ years in SA and interstate media (5AD, 5AA, 3AW Melbourne, 2UE Sydney); 15+ years in SA government, including as a ministerial media adviser.
Wallace Long
Thirty-year practitioner and consultant in advertising, marketing and communications; experienced member of non-profit boards.
Barry Mitchell
Presenter and producer of Barometer on Radio Adelaide; formerly EP and Head of Production for Australia Network (TV) at the ABC; formerly Manager of Industry Programs at the SA Film Corporation; founding member of Three D Radio.
PJ Rose
Formerly Radio Adelaide Program Manager (1999-2004), presenter and trainer; formerly Secretary of South Australian Community Broadcasting Association (2000-2003); formerly Artistic Director and CEO (1997-1999 and 2004-2014) of No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability.
