Pilisadara – A Conversation with Kumar Dharmasena

Muditha Maduwantha, General Manager Cricket at Mega Courts interviews ICC cricket umpire Kumar Dharmasena during his visit to umpire the ODI played at the Adelaide Oval on the 26th January 2018. Kumar is the first Sri Lankan to umpire 50 test matches. He is the only international umpire who has played and umpired a world cup final. He is among the four umpires in the elite panel of the ICC umpires.
Kumar speaks about how hard work resulted in his great achievements. He also speaks about the current technologies used and the challenges facing future umpires.
