As of 2018, Australia has a seat on the United Nations Human Rights Council.
With a heavily criticised human rights history, particularly due to Australia’s treatment of Indigenous peoples and refugees, how must Australia change to be considered a human rights hero?
We discuss this with Louise Chappell, the Director of the Australian Human Rights Institute from the Law School UNSW, Sydney.
