AYO: Marshall McGuire and National Music Camp 2018
Posted on: Mon 8 Jan 2018
Each year the Australian Youth Orchestra holds a ‘National Music Camp’. A two-week intensive program that provides 250 young Aussie musicians with the opportunity to learn, grow and challenge their musical dreams.
The program include orchestra, composition and production. Talented young musicians get a taste of the classical music industry through performing a range of orchestral masterpieces in a nation-wide series of free public concerts.
Ahead of their week of free shows in Adelaide, harpist Marshall McGuire joins us to discuss his involvement with this great program, as well as his career as a professional musician.
