Conscious of Conflict – North Korea Launches Missile

North Korea has again launched a ballistic missile test. This time the missile flew into the sea of Japan and rose 1200 metres. This suggests the weapons are capable of reaching anywhere in the world.
Felix Petrikeef, President of the SA branch of the Australian Institute of International Affairs believes that we perhaps underestimate their scientific capacity. ‘They’re very good in the area of electronic or cyber warfare, they have been developing that at a considerable pace and their missile technology has gone in a similar direction,’ he says in discussion with Tom Jordan.
