NZ latest: Pike River Mine

In 2010, the Pike River mine in New Zealand unexpectedly exploded, tragically killing 29 men.
New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, announced that she will consider re-opening the mine so that the bodies can be recovered.
If this goes ahead, families will be able to properly farewell their loved ones by late 2019.
In other news, SKY TV has come under fire after they briefly hired ex-journalist and convicted domestic abuser Tony Veitch for a new program.
