Dr Sharon Mascall-Dare: The Narratives of War Symposium

As an Army Reservist recently returned from Iraq, Dr Sharon Mascall-Dare contributes a contemporary veteran’s perspective to the symposium. She tells us that the symposium is not just an opportunity for scholars of all levels of experience, but includes amateur historians and the Defence community. Two areas in particular that Sharon’s passionate about are the Saturday session regarding the challenges facing Reservists… and the StoryRight session that could assist members of the Defence Force transitioning into civilian life.
