What’s happening with the old RAH?

Adelaide is a changing city, and the latest big change was the opening of the Royal Adelaide Hospital last month.
But what’s happening with the old Royal Adelaide Hospital in the East end?
Gerald Matthews from Matthews Architects says it’s time that Adelaide takes itself less seriously, “it’s important that cities aren’t just places that you work…Adelaide is transitioning back towards somewhere were you live and work and what should go along with this, is somewhere were you can play.”
He added that Adelaide has proven it can use big open spaces really well as seen during our Festival season; but in order to add more fun to our town, “we need to get better at controversy” he says.
