For many decades, Australia has trailed behind other nations in the fields of space technology and exploration.
The tide could soon be turning in Australia’s favour however, with both the SA and Federal Governments announcing plans to extend the nation’s space capabilities.
These exciting announcements have come at a great time, with the world’s largest space conference, the International Astronautical Congress beginning today in Adelaide.
Hosts Tom Mann and Ian Newton spoke with Robert Debelle, one of the organisers of the International Astronautical Congress about these exciting developments and what’s planned for the conference.
