From physical comedy to serious, melancholic dramas, Italian films often posses a unique ability to create a distinct sense of place and culture that many fail to capture on the silver screen.
A feeling that the annual Italian Film Festival intends to share with South Australian audiences until October 1.
“These great films get made all around the world, in Italy especially, and they don’t make it here with much fanfare. So we created a festival to showcase all these great films in the one place” said Italian Film Festival CEO Ben Zeccola.
Ben chatted with hosts Tom Mann and Ian Newton about this year’s festival and the festival’s origins.
