Because I am a Girl Breakfast

2017 year marks the 6th year of Plan International’s Because I am a Girl Breakfast held on Tuesday 26 September at the Adelaide Oval which has been built around International Day of the Girl.
The event exists to raise awareness and funds for Plan’s gender transformative programs to help girls around the world access their right to education, health and protection, “this years breakfast is focusing on Free to Be. We’re looking at the way in which women in situations of adversity find triumph,” says Chair of the Plan International Women for Girls Committee Adelaide, Leanne Muffet.
All proceeds of the Breakfast support Plan International’s Because I am A girl campaign, which works to break down the barriers to girl’s and women’s full participation in society.
