FRAN Fest: “We Are Here Forever”

Fran Fest celebrates the 40-year anniversary of the Women’s show of 1977. The month long festival has exhibited works from women and non-binary people, including a symposium over the weekend.
The Feminist Art Renewal Network aims to celebrate and support artists who have been overlooked by the commercial sector. “In some ways there as been substantiation changes and in some ways there seems like nothing changed” explains Loene Furler from FRAN fest about women in art since the 70’s.
