The journalism industry has never gone through so many drastic changes as it has in the past decade.
One third of journalist jobs in Australia have been cut in the past 6 years. With a shift to the online world, media has become more accessible and diverse but without a strong financial model, it lacks depth and breadth.
Annie Hastwell is a freelance journalist and producer at The Wire on Radio Adelaide. With 25 years’ experience , she’s witnessed the evolution of the industry.
