People’s Panel to inform government on child wellbeing

The South Australian Council of Social Service is working in collaboration with Democracy Co towards a new and community-driven approach to child wellbeing.
This initiative will bring together 50 ordinary South Australians and a small number of NGOs to create a policy which will go out to all political parties in the lead up to the March 2018 election.
Democracy Co CEO, Emma Lawson, joined Small Change’s Lisa Burns for a chat about the work of Democracy Co, the importance and impact of community participation in government decisions and how people can register to be a part of the People’s Panel.
