Religious Freedom Bill goes too far

Almost a year ago, the Federal Government committed to developing a package of legislative reforms that would further protect freedom of religion under Australian law and in the community.
The Australian Council of Social Service says it supports enshrining the right to freedom from religious discrimination in legislation, but that the draft Religious Freedom Bill goes too far, privileging religious interests over the rights and interests of other people.
