Posted on: Mon 1 May 2023

It’s likely to impact on the family of each and everyone reading this! Stroke….  it’s one of Australia’s biggest killers. It’s indiscriminate.  It affects men, women and children of all ages and from all walks of life, including our Military and Ex-Service Communities.  It kills more women than breast cancer and more men than prostate cancer,  yet more than 80 percent of strokes can be prevented.

So…  what can each of us do to minimise our risk and those of our loved ones of dying or being incapacitated by stroke?  Janet Weir from the Stroke Foundation is our special guest speaker today…  she imparts important info that could give each of us a fighting chance of beating this killer…  Stroke….
