In 1975, Papua New Guinea achieved independence from Australia after nearly 60 years of Australian administration and joined the Commonwealth.

In 2014, Barbra Streisand released her album ‘Partners’ making her the only recording artist with a top album across 6 decades.

True to its name, the album featured duets with other artists, such as Stevie Wonder, Michael Buble, Billy Joel, John Legend, Lionel Richie, and even Elvis Presley from a 1950s recording.
