There are an innumerable number of threats to our agricultural industry and biodiversity. But by and by, introduced plants, animals, insects and diseases cause more damage than anything else.

Picturing a nation free of pests is a far stretch of the imagination – however appropriate management may not be so distant. The first step is to put a number on this impact.

Barometer’s Leon Bishop spoke with Corey J. A. Bradshaw, Matthew Flinders Professor of Global Ecology at Flinders University, about quantifying this damage.
