Fracking Versus First Nations Justice

Throughout the country, in New South Wales, Western Australia and the Northern Territory – even offshore – big fossil fuel companies like Santos and Woodside are developing and expanding gas fields and fracking operations. In all of those places, First Nations people are concerned about the effect of these operations on the land and environment – especially water tables. One organisation that has been taking these concerns to the public and the companies involved is Get Up. Barometer’s Barry Mitchell spoke to their First Nations Justice team leader, Amy Gordon.
