Lisa Furno’s ‘Forever Playground’

Posted on: Fri 27 May 2022

Next week, jeweller and artist Lisa Furno will be bringing play and consumer culture to Adelaide with her art exhibition Forever Playground.

Using pre-loved and used materials for her work, including old toys, op-shop finds, and even her own rubbish, Lisa explores consumerism and the indoctrination of children into that culture.

This show sees the repurposing of Lisa’s daughter’s old plastic cubby house into bunny figures.

Lisa Furno joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann to chat about the exhibition.

You can check out her exhibition at 6 Manton in Hindmarsh from the 2nd of June.
