Tony Mogridge: With 4RAR in Borneo

Tony’s Army career began when the National Service ballot grabbed him in 1957. In 1963 he was accepted into Officer Cadet School Portsea, beginning what Tony says was the hardest year of his life. Physically and mentally demanding. In December that year he graduated, and was posted to 4 RAR, which was getting ready for overseas deployment.
