Adelaide Fringe Review: Dane Simpson – Didgeridoozy

Posted on: Thu 17 Mar 2022

It is sooooooooooooo funny! Exactly what I needed 🙂 4.5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✨

A stand-up comedy show with a twist: not only you will laugh…. A LOT…  but you will learn really interesting things which is always a bonus! It is full of funny stories, fun facts and little surprises here and there.

Dane Simpson is a fantastic story-teller and he will take you on a journey during one hour of big laughs. You will meet different “characters” on the road and experience the didgeridoo magic in the best way possible! It is funny, it is catchy, it is entertaining and also interactive. It is the perfect way to conclude your evening on a happy note.

Dane has a gift to flirt with serious topics in such a fun way that it makes you laugh but also reflect at the same time. As the show progresses, you almost feel like you are part of the whole adventure and you know his family, his dad, his brother, his hometown of Wagga and its famous but only one pub…. It is such a delight to listen to all the little anecdotes, you keep coming back for more!

The audience loved it, lots of laughter’s and happy dances under the Bally tent at the Gluttony. Loved this artist, his big smile, his warmth, and his unique way to catch our attention…. Like a piece of music, the show plays on different rhythms and shades… visiting a range of feelings, loved every single stories and the way they beautifully merged together.

Go see this show – you will leave feeling happier, wiser and more connected than ever with the didgeridoo melody!
