Kylie Stevenson: Larrimah – Missing!

Posted on: Mon 15 Nov 2021

Journalists Kylie Stevenson and Caroline Graham co-wrote the unmistakably Aussie book Larrimah – a non-fiction story full of facts, warmth, humour and amazing outback characters.   During WWII thousands of soldiers were stationed at Larrimah in the Northern Territory about 431 kms southeast of Darwin.  When Kylie & Caroline recently arrived to begin their research, it had just a handful of houses, 11 people (since Paddy went missing) an unmanned museum, a teahouse, a few sheds and of course the Pub.   The huge headline on a laminated sign on the wall of the Pub read  ‘Missing.  What happened to Paddy?’
