Australia’s Fractured French Friendship

Since Australia has ditched France as the provider of a multi-billion dollar submarine deal, Emmanuel Macron has accused Scott Morrison of lying to him about the deal in a doorstop interview at the recent G20 summit.

After such a scathing comment, what might this mean for Australia’s relationship with one of our largest economic partners?

Romain Fathi, a senior lecturer from Flinders University, joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann to take a look at the impact of a damaged relationship with France.
