Australia to the Moon

Posted on: Fri 5 Nov 2021

As missions to space are ramping up more than ever before, Australia’s new space agency is set to be a part of some exciting exploration in the near future.

Private companies in Australia, alongside Canada, will be sending a rover to the moon as soon as 2024 ahead of a further mission with the Australia’s space Agency in collaboration with NASA to send a rover in 2026.

What do we hope to find, and what will this increased space exploration mean for our future?

Dr. Joshua Chou, a senior lecturer in the School of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney, joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann to tell us more about these space ventures.
