John Walker: Radio Officer – Blue Funnel Line

With a delightful Scottish brogue tinged with humour and a touch of Canadian accent, John talks about his experiences post-WW11 serving as Radio Officer with Alfred Holt & Company who ran the legendary Blue Funnel Line and the Glen Line. John settled in Canada for a few years after his shipping career, and his skills as a psychologist were employed by the Canadian Police.
