On Monday morning you might have woken up and wondered why you couldn’t check your Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
A global outage saw all of Facebook’s platforms down for six hours, with people turning to alternatives like Twitter and Telegram in its absence.
Dr. David Tuffley, a senior lecturer at Griffith University’s School of Information and Communication Technology, joins Breakfast’s Anisha Pillarisetty and Shannon Pearce to discuss what happened and what we can learn from it.
