Australia now enjoys some of the longest life expectancies in the world with recent statistics showing over a fifth of Australians are over 65 years old.

With an aging population, architects are making plans to ensure the quality of live for Australia’s aging population.

Multi-generational housing development may be the next step in supporting families where physical capabilities may be diminishing, while also considering the importance of independence and social inclusion.
