The Stirling Players’ ‘The Hypochondriac’

Posted on: Fri 3 Sep 2021

Angela Short has worked with many of the theatre groups in Adelaide, but her latest work is with The Stirling Players on a production of Molière’s The Hypochondriac.

It’s the tale of Argan, portrayed by Dave Slater, who believes that he’s always ill and slavishly follows the instructions of his doctors and pharmacists. He’s even trying to persuade his daughter to marry a doctor so that he can get free treatment.

Angela Short and Dave Slater from The Stirling Players join Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Paul Davies to chat about the show.

The shows will be running for three weekends from Friday the 10th until Saturday the 25th of September. If you’d like more info or to grab tickets check out their website here.
