Is our Great Barrier Reef ‘In Danger’?

Late last month the UNESCO World Heritage Centre revealed a draft decision to declare the Great Barrier Reef as ‘in danger’.

However in a recent decision, the World Heritage Committee has made decided against this listing.

So what does this listing mean and what is our government doing about our Great Barrier Reef?
