Australia’s Take on News

Posted on: Fri 25 Jun 2021

Each year the News and Media Research Centre at the University of Canberra publishes a Digital News Report with the findings of a survey of over two-thousand Australians’ media usage.

This year’s report reflects changes in the way Australians understand and consume news since the COVID-19 pandemic took hold of the news cycle at the beginning of 2020.

Caroline Fisher, Deputy Director of the News and Media Research Centre at the University of Canberra and a co-author of the Australian Digital News Report, joins Breakfast’s Tom Mann and Paul Davies to further discuss the findings of the report and what it means for news in Australia.
