On this day in history:

Iconic novel Dracula by Irish author Bram Stoker is released in 1897.

124 years on, Dracula is still apart of our culture, with more than 200 films to date that feature Count Dracula.

In 1927, Grauman’s Chinese Theater opens in Hollywood, California.

It was once stated “to visit Los Angeles and not see the Chinese Theatre is like visiting China and not seeing the Great Wall.”

On the grand opening, thousands of people packed outside the theatre caused a riot, trying to catch a glimpse of the movie stars and celebrities’.

Finally, 22 years ago the Backstreet Boy’s 3rd studio album Millennium is released.

The album, including international hit “I Want it That Way” sold over 30 million copies.
