Blood, Sweat and Karaoke is a show following the story of Joseph “Joppy” Galura, who is a 1st generation Australian Filipino.

Raised in one culture, and surrounded by another, he is not fully accepted in either, struggling to find his place in life.

The story is a struggle that many Australian’s have, and is based on true events, exploring how he deals with these struggles, using boxing and karaoke.

Tom Mann speaks to Director Tim Overton and Creator/Performer Ezra Juanta about Blood, Sweat and Karaoke making it’s premiere at Rumpus Theatre tomorrow night.
